2024 Sponsorship InformationFounded in April 1921, the Oklahoma City Geological Society focuses on growing the geologic knowledge of Oklahoma and adjacent regions, along with promoting the geoscience profession and fellowship and cooperation amongst geologists. For over 100 years the Society has worked to further the careers of our Members by offering outstanding networking and educational opportunities. By becoming a Society Sponsor you and your organization help provide these opportunities locally to Oklahoma City’s geoscience community at a reduced, affordable cost. For 2024 we are offering two Sponsorship types, a Society Sponsor and/or an Event Sponsor. Society Sponsorships help us bring in monthly luncheon speakers as well as superior short course and field trip instructors. In return, the Society provides your company with an employee discount code for these events and more. We will recognize your company at each of our luncheons and we will add your logo to our website and to the monthly Shale Shaker Newsletter.
By becoming an Event Sponsor you help the society to put on social events at a reduced cost to the membership. In return, you will be recognized during the event and in advertisements prior to and after the event which may include the Shale Shaker Newsletter, social media, and email blasts.
